After many tears shed in the morning. You see, there is a lady that is in disbelief, she is in denial. Only a little bit ago, she was blessed with this a little baby who turned her world upside down!

She's 7 now, and one of the most amazing little people I know.
Her teachers made that super cool hat for her birthday. |
My sweet Elena is nothing short of sweet. She has such a tender and loving heart. She loves to serve others and help me anytime. She loves to read, and has an desire to swim constantly. She loves her math and has been known to cry if we don't give her a math problem during dinner time.
She is growing so much. She has in incredible memory and remembers Gospel stories so well. She understands more than I do most of the times and is a happy little girl.
Her latest? She loves Harry Potter!

But this girl, she is only 7 and from Uruguay. She has experience, she knows it's not a game, she know where to hit it to break it, she knows where to go once it's broken, and she knows that the person with the least amount is a LOSER!
But she is too polite to say so ;-) |
