After those amazing spices we took yet another drive. We drove and drove and drove some more.

We visited "The temple of the Tooth" which is where the canine tooth of the Lord Budha is kept. He was cremated but Legends say someone saved his tooth and whomever has it should be the ruler of the land.

I can't remember the names of the rooms but this one was one of the most impressive ones.

These were real and they were everywhere.
Sri Lanka is a country covered in beautiful flowers.

Inside the Temple

Inside that little door, there is a bell looking gold thing (sorry David should be writing this) is supposed to be the tooth. The door is only open for like 5 minutes for people to take a little glance at the bell.

While in Kandy we also visited a little theater where we could see some traditional dances and men walking on fire!!!

We had a nice stay in Kandy, the girls loved the fish pond by the restaurant.

That night David was out at the same time as Luisa, so it was the big girls, Nathan, Maria and I for dinner.
The buffet is a dangerous place when no one at the table is being responsible, we missed you David!
