No, I didn't spell Colombia wrong!!
I am talking about the largest city in Sri Lanka, Colombo.
That is where we started our journey. We were picked up by a friendly driver at the airport and then rode for about an hour to Colombo.
Did you know that they drive on the left side of the road in Sri Lanka?
They also have great services along the way :-)
We arrived at like 5am to our hotel so they let us sleep and have breakfast before touring the city. We were all ready to see it all and didn't care about food or sleep. Until we saw our rooms and breakfast. Oh MY!
There were fresh passion fruits waiting to be eaten, ham, bacon, fresh juicy sweet fruits, amazing omelets and the most amazing juices. It is a good thing that we all appreciate food because others could have judge.
Temple. I am not going to try and fill in with details, sorry I am trying to catch up and this is only March!

| Nathan, over 6feet tall on the outside, 7 year old on the inside :-) |
| Little bunny Lulu |
| She stopped traffic every where we went. |
At this particular temple, Luisa and I arrived about 5 minutes after everyone and were stopped by a group of kids from a school in which they learn English and were photographed for about 15 minutes, by the time we got to the top Dave, Nathan, Maria and the girls were ready to leave again :-(
| One of the many around the whole country. |
| Another temple, here people actually came to pray while we were walking around. |
| Gifts from Thailand |
Victoria could not stop herself from following the animals. Can you spot the big swans? |
| There were plenty of animals every where! |
| The little Tuk Tuk that could :-) |
On the side of the road. Ian, see, Victoria found Porcupines! |
These were found all over on the highway. They looked so good so we stopped to get one. |
After we choose one, this sweet lady peeled it and sliced it for us,put it in a little bag and even offered to sprinkle chili pepper on it and or salt. We passed but boy it was the sweetest pineapple ever! |
Then drove and drove, and arrived to a brand new place.
