Bergamo

Hello Hello!!!

Yes, to keep with tradition I waited at least 3 months to post about our Christmas break :-)  I was not about to disappoint you all, so let's get started.

Our Christmas break destination was Italy!!!
We started in Bergamo, a beautiful city near Milan. We rented a little apt there and took day trips to Milan to see my family and around Bergamo.
Going Up the funicular.
We were dying of cold but we loved the little stone streets and Christmas decor.
We made it to "Cita Alta"
The famous dessert of Bergamo.
Polenta!!
Italy was made for me.
These are pumps made out of chocolate!!

Gingerbread houses!!!!
These signs outside of a little restaurant made us wonder what they think of American's and their food choices.
What do they sell?
Headbands!!!

Italians are very passionate people ;-)
We tasted a little Polenta dessert, we had to!
Then, we discovered it is not made out of Polenta at all, it was yummy though.

We found a castle.
Holly Berries!!!
Oh they were so so so SO cute!!!
We also found a museum,
With really cool stuff, like a Mammoth
And a bat skeleton!
After all the fun we left the three little one with my cousin and the rest of the fam.
So we could go to this super crowded stadium in Milan.

Do you see that 20 back there?
20 years of singing for our favorite singer, Laura Pausini (who is from Milan, so it was a HUGE concert)
It was the most amazing concert EVER!!! It lasted almost three hours of just her singing, no one else.
She even sang our wedding song, for which I made David stand up and dance with me. Seriously, how could we pass the opportunity.
A wonderful night,
Gracias, Karen, Daniel, Victor, Nelly y Hugo por cuidar a las nenas!
